The Ten Tenors

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to share work I’ve recently done for non-disclosure reasons, so I’m excited to show some behind the scenes pics of a shoot from 2 days ago….hot off the press.

I spent the day with The Ten Tenors shooting the tour posters for their upcoming World tour.

A real great bunch of talented guys who are doing an amazing job of representing Australian music on a global scale.

Here’s a link to The Ten Tenors on Oprah earlier this year

Dead Kooks

Teamed up with friends of mine Eden & Chloe the other day. Eden’s a rad guy and likes to make his own things you can surf on. I like people who make things; creatives, craftsmen, the like. You can check out his surfing boards on the Dead Kooks site.

I’ve Been Served……via Behance

If you’re a creative professional  and “up” on all things hip, then you’re probably like me and a huge follower of the Behance Network.

Part of my daily routine is a glance over at the “Served” sites, which curate the top projects from the thousands posted to Behance from all over the World, and summarize them into each category.

I was really pleased to get this email from chief curator Oscar Ramos Orozco:

Hello Kenny,
Congratulations! One of your projects was just featured on photographyserved.com and will appear on its front page. We developed our network of category-specific Served sites to further showcase the best projects on the Behance Network.
Our editorial team features only a small number of projects every day. With many thousands to choose from, we look for work that promotes new thinking in its industry.
Congrats, and thanks for being involved in the Behance Network.

Help Me World – Spot this Campaign

I’ve currently got this campaign running for global travel company Flight Centre’s corporate brand FCm Travel Solutions.

The 2 shot’s you see are part of a 40 shot brief that is being rolled out slowly around the world. The nature of the game means that while I will get the artwork as it is released, I probably won’t get to see a lot of it actually in print first hand as a lot of it will be in North America and Asia.

The creative agency I worked with has told me that the media real estate purchased will be print, magazine, newspapers, signage via billboards etc. So if someone is out and happens to take a happy snap of one with an iPhone, digital camera, anything, I’d be really stoked and promise to give you a shout out via all my social networks!

The actual campaign was a lot of fun, and was shot in Brisbane. Our production team booked out the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) and The Queensland State Library for a total of 2 full days and constructed corporate sets such as offices and lobbies. There are some behind the scenes shots on Facebook here.

In the Bay with JM Paddleboards

I went and shot some promo pics for JM Paddleboards, the brainchild of 9 time Molokai Paddleboard champ, big wave surfer and Quiksilver athlete Jamie Mitchell.

I’ve spent a bit of time in shaping bay’s and have always thought they have cool light.

For those of you who haven’t ever been in one, this is what you’ll see
